Let's talk social link previews. Unlike other website builders where you can create social previews manually - Google sites does this somewhat automatically. However, it's not as cut and dry as to how to achieve this.
How to create the social link preview of your choice:
The Title of the website is used as the social link previews title.
in the example, I'm using keywords to help customers find the business.
The social link previews description, typically uses the first text after the website header.
It's important to note - this design is using a white logo. Because of this, the social link will default to the next photo in the website.
Note: Background images are not used in social like previews.

You can collect basic data from your website with Analytics.*

If you don't already have one, sign up for an Analytics account.
In the top right corner, click Settings .
In the “Settings” window, go to Analytics.
Enter a valid Analytics Property ID. It should look like: “UA-XXXXXX-X” or "G-XXXXXXX."
It can take up to 24 hours for data to show up in Analytics.
Open Analytics.
